Tablets for the relief of cold and flu symptoms such as fever, pain and mucous secretions.
Contains 12 tablets.
Effervescent tablets designed for the relief and symptomatic treatment of colds and flu-like illnesses that cause discomfort, with or without fever and thick mucus.
Intended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Take 1 tablet every 24 hours, without exceeding the maximum dose.
In children under 12 years of age.
In case of hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or excipients present in this medicine.
In patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, bronchospasm, respiratory failure, anaemia, gastroduodenal ulcer without medical control.
Do not use in parallel with other cough suppressant medicines.
Pregnancy and lactation, do not use.
Caution with antibiotics such as amphotericin B, ampicillin sodium, cephalosporins, erythromycin lactobionate or some tetracyclines. They may be incompatible or inactivated. It is recommended to separate intakes by at least 2 hours.
Consult your doctor in case of treatment with: oral anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, loop diuretics, isoniazid, lamotrigine, metoclopramide, domperidone, propranolol, probenecid, cholestyramine, carbamazepine, nitroglycerin.
Fluimucil Complex may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In this case, the following has been observed:
In relation to paracetamol, the most frequent are: hepatotoxicity, renal toxicity, alterations in blood formula, hypoglycaemia and allergic dermatitis.
In relationto acetylcysteine, the most frequent are gastrointestinal in nature.
Fluimucil Complex contains 200 mg acetylcysteine and 500 mg paracetamol as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: anhydrous citric acid (E-330), sorbitol (E-420), sodium hydrogencarbonate, anhydrous sodium carbonate, aspartame (E-951), citronella flavouring, leucine, dimethicone, docusate sodium.
For correct administration of the medicine, place the effervescent tablet in a glass of water and swallow as soon as it has dissolved. It is recommended to take it in the morning and drink plenty of water to hydrate mucous membranes and improve the effectiveness of the medicine.
Do not drink alcohol during treatment.
If there is no improvement in 5 days, if the fever persists for 3 days or if the symptoms worsen during this time, consult a doctor.
