Tablets for the symptomatic relief of occasional mild to moderate pain, such as headache, dental or muscular pain, as well as feverish conditions.
Contains 20 tablets.
It is a medicine used for the treatment of symptoms involving pain, as well as to reduce fever due to its antipyretic action.
It is indicated for adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.
In adults and over 14 years of age, take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, without exceeding 3 g/day of paracetamol.
For sore throat, do not take for more than 2 days, without appropriate clinical evaluation.
In patients with impaired renal function or renal failure, this medicine is not indicated.
It is not recommended that the dose exceeds 60 mg/kg/day of paracetamol.
In patients with hepatic insufficiency, the dose should not exceed 2 g/day, with an interval of 8 hours between doses.
Do not use Termalgin 650 mg if you are hypersensitive to paracetamol or any of the excipients, in hepatocellular disorders, or phenylketonuria.
Special care should be taken in patients with chronic alcoholism, renal failure, heart failure, lung disease and anaemia, among others.
They may give rise to erroneous calculations of uric acid and glucose levels in analyses requiring their determination.
No problems have been reported in pregnant women, although a doctor should always be consulted before use. Whenever necessary, the lowest effective therapeutic dose should be taken for the shortest possible time.
No problems have been reported in breast-feeding, although a doctor should always be consulted before use, as maximum concentrations of 10-15 microlitres/ml in milk 2 hours after ingestion have been found.
A doctor should be consulted if you are taking medicines such as chloramphenicol, propranolol, probenecid, oral anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, loop diuretics, methotrexate, methotrexate, methotrexate, methotrexate and other drugs.The doctor should also be consulted if you are taking loop diuretics, metoclopramide, domperidone, rifampicin, lamotrigine, isoniazid, among others, as the plasma levels of these or of paracetamol may be affected, increasing or decreasing, causing toxicity or shielding the effect relatively.
Termalgin 650 mg may cause side effects, as with all medicines. Specifically, the following have been observed:
Hypersensitivity reactions (urticaria, anaphylactic shock), general malaise, agranulocytosis, increased transaminases, hepatotoxicity, cloudy urine, among others.
Stevens Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis.
Increase in hepatic transaminases.
It can also cause hypotension and hypoglycaemia.
Each Termalgin tablet contains 650 mg of paracetamol, which is the active substance of the medicinal product.
Excipients: corn starch, povidone, stearic acid, crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, colloidal silicic acid and talc.
If you have pain due to any kind of blow, illness, contracture, menstrual pain, headache or fever, take one tablet of this medicine every 4-6 hours, depending on the intensity of the symptoms.
Remember not to exceed the maximum dose of 60 mg/kg/day, divided into several doses per day.
If after 5 days of treatment the pain does not improve or new symptoms appear, stop the treatment and see your doctor for a clinical assessment and appropriate adjustment of the treatment. The same procedure should be followed if feverish symptoms last longer than 3 days.
