Pharmagrip Forte is a medicine that combines paracetamol, phenylephrine and chlorphenamine to relieve symptoms such as fever, nasal congestion and secretion and pain.
It is indicated for the treatment of catarrhal and flu-like conditions.
Who it is intended for
Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age.
Instructions for use
Take 1 sachet every 6-8 hours and no more than 4 sachets a day.
Contraindications
Do not use Pharmagrip Forte in children under 14 years of age.
Consult your doctor if you are taking any other medicine for diseases such as epilepsy (lamotrigine, phenobarbital...), depression (barbiturate...), nausea and vomiting (nausea and vomiting).nausea and vomiting (metoclopramide), diuretics (furosemide), antihypertensives and drugs for heart rhythm disturbances (propanolol), depression, Parkinson's disease...
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: This medicine cannot be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
This medicine contains orange yellow (may cause allergic reactions), sodium (special care in patients with hypertension) and mannitol (may cause laxative effect).
Side effects
Like all medicines, Pharmagrip Forte may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: malaise, hypotension, clumsiness of movement, tremor, tingling, dry mouth and gastrointestinal discomfort.
Very frequent adverse reactions: slight drowsiness, sweating, dizziness and muscle weakness.
Composition
The active ingredients of Pharmagrip Forte are 650 mg paracetamol, 10 mg phenylephrine hydrochloride (equivalent to 8.21 mg phenylephrine) and 4 mg chlorphenamine maleate (equivalent to 2.8 mg chlorphenamine).
The other ingredients are: saccharin sodium, sodium cyclamate, mannitol (E-421), orange flavouring, orange-yellow colouring S (E-110) and povidone.

The sachets have a pleasant orange flavour and should be dissolved in at least half a glass of water, shaken well and then taken.
Do not take more than 4 sachets a day. If after 3 days of medication the symptoms do not improve, seek medical advice.
This medicine can be taken with or without food.
