It is a medicine that combines paracetamol, phenylephrine and chlorphenamine to relieve cold and flu symptoms, such as fever, nasal congestion and discharge, and pain.
It is a medicine used for anti-catarrhal and influenza processes.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents from 14 years of age.
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 1 sachet every 6-8 hours and no more than 4 sachets a day.
Do not use Normogrip sachets in adolescents under 12 years of age.
Consult your doctor about the use of this medicine if you are taking any other medicine for diseases such as epilepsy (lamotrigine, phenobarbital...), depression (barbiturate...), nausea and vomiting (nausea and vomiting).nausea and vomiting (metoclopramide), diuretics (furosemide), antihypertensives and drugs for heart rhythm disturbances (propanolol), depression, Parkinson's disease...
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: This medicine cannot be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
This medicine contains aspartame (caution in patients with phenylketonuria, as it is a source of phenylalanine) and yellow orange (may cause allergic reactions).
Like all medicines, Normogrip sachets may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: malaise, hypotension, clumsiness of movement, tremor, tingling, dry mouth and gastrointestinal discomfort.
Very frequent adverse reactions: slight drowsiness, sweating, dizziness and muscle weakness.
The active ingredients of Normogrip sachets are: paracetamol 650 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg (equivalent to 8.21 mg phenylephrine) and chlorphenamine maleate 4 mg (equivalent to 2.8 mg chlorphenamine).
The other ingredients are: saccharin sodium (E-954), mannitol (E-421), orange flavouring, yellow-orange colouring (E-110), povidone (E-1201) and aspartame (E951).
The sachets have a pleasant orange flavour and should be dissolved at least in water, stirring well before taking. Can be taken with or without food.
Do not take more than 4 sachets a day. If after 3 days of treatment the symptoms do not improve, seek medical advice.
