Aspirin 500 mg 20 Tablets

It is a medicine in tablet form containing acetylsalicylic acid, an active ingredient that works by reducing fever and pain such as headache, menstrual, dental, muscle or back pain.

Intended for use by adults and adolescents over 16 years of age seeking relief from symptoms of occasional pain or fever.

The recommended dose is 1 tablet every 4 or 6 hours, according to need, not exceeding the maximum dose of 8 tablets daily. It is recommended to take with a glass of water, after meals to avoid an empty stomach.

Do not use Aspirin 500 mg:

• In children under 16 years of age.
• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or any other component present in this medicine.
• You suffer from haemophilia, stomach or intestinal ulcer or repeated gastric discomfort.
• You have or have had asthma.
• You have had asthmatic allergic reactions when taking anti-inflammatory or other painkillers.
• In case of renal or hepatic insufficiency.
• You are being treated with anticoagulant drugs.
• You are in the third trimester of pregnancy (you should consult your doctor about its use if you are in the first and second trimester).

Aspirin 500 mg tablets may cause side effects, as is the case with all medicines. Although this does not mean that all patients will experience them, in this case they have been observed:

• Common adverse effects: Respiratory disorders (asthma, shortness of breath, rhinitis, nasal congestion), gastrointestinal disorders (general gastric discomfort such as digestive heaviness, heartburn, acidity, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, vomiting, diarrhoea, diarrhoea).stomach or intestinal ulcer), skin problems (rash, urticaria, itching, angioedema), hypoprothrombinemia.
• Rare adverse effects: Reye's syndrome, anaemia, liver disorders.

Each tablet of Aspirin contains 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: powdered cellulose and corn starch.
