Antiseptic solution used for washing the external vaginal (vulvovaginal) area in adult women.

It is a medicated antiseptic solution formulated with benzalkonium chloride, an active ingredient used for washing the external vaginal (vulvovaginal) area in adults.
It comes in a 250 ml bottle.
This medicine is indicated for use in the external vaginal area of adult women over 18 years of age.
It is not indicated during pregnancy and lactation, except under medical prescription.
Dilute 6 - 8 pumps of the dispenser (equivalent to 15 ml) of Ginejuvent in half a litre of cold or lukewarm water. Wash 2 - 3 times a day for 7 days.
It should not be applied with gauze, cotton wool or dressings, as it will lose its effectiveness.
Once the solution has been applied, wash hands with plenty of water.
Do not use Ginejuvent Liquid:
In children under 18 years of age, unless medically recommended.
If allergic to benzalkonium chloride or to any of the excipients.
On mucous membranes other than the vaginal mucosa.
Ginejuvent may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In this case, being a product for topical use, side effects are not usually frequent if used with the right concentration of the medicine. However, the following adverse effects of unknown frequency have been observed: hypersensitivity, local irritation and allergic skin reactions.
The active substance of Ginejuvent is benzalkonium chloride. Each ml of solution contains 10 mg benzalkonium chloride. The other excipients are: lactic acid, calcium lactate, chamomile extract, menthol, rose essence (contains geraniol), 96% ethanol (alcohol) and purified water.
This medicine comes in a bottle with a dosage valve and 250 ml of solution, which is colourless or slightly yellowish and has a pleasant floral aroma.
Do not swallow, as this medicine is for vaginal use only.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water and consult an ophthalmologist if necessary.
