Dermovagisil 20mg/g Vaginal Cream, 20 g

It is a medicine in the form of a cream for vaginal use containing lidocaine as the active ingredient, which has a local anaesthetic action.

It is indicated for the temporary and local symptomatic relief of mild itching of the external vaginal area, such as that caused by underwear, soaps or deodorants.

It comes in a 20 g tube.

Specially formulated for use in adult women and adolescents over 12 years of age.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.

Apply a thin layer of cream and spread it gently over the affected external vaginal area up to 3-4 times a day. Do not use for more than one week at a time.

Hands should be washed immediately after application.

Do not use Dermovagisil:

• In children under 12 years of age.

• In case of allergy to lidocaine, amide-type local anaesthetics or any of the excipients present in this medicinal product.

• This product is for external vaginal use only,

• On wounded, abraded, infected or bleeding skin. It should not be used on large areas of skin, as it is a cream for external vaginal use only.

Dermovagisil may cause side effects, as is the case with all medicines on the market. In this case, as it is a cream for topical use, reactions rarely occur, although in some sensitive people it may cause irritation, itching, oedema (swelling caused by fluid retention) or allergic reaction in the area of application.

The active substance in Dermovagisil is lidocaine. Each gram of cream contains 20 mg lidocaine (2 %). The other excipients are: stearic acid, glyceryl monostearate, glycerol, triethanolamine, zinc oxide, sulphonated castor oil, isopropyl alcohol, rose perfume (contains benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate).benzyl benzoate, cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl alcohol, citral, citronellol, geraniol, limonene and linalool), sodium dioctylsulphosuccinate, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, chlorothymol, deionised water.
