It is a herbal medicine formulated with 450 mg of valerian root, making it very useful in the management of nervousness and sleep disorders.
It belongs to the group of sedatives and hypnotics, which help you relax and fall asleep.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
The recommended dosage varies according to the patient's needs:
Nervousness: 1-3 tablets 3 times a day.
Sleep disorders: 2 tablets, 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime. If necessary, 1 more tablet may be taken in the evening.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 4 tablets daily.
Do not take Valdispert tablets:
If you are allergic to valerian, or to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
Children under twelve years of age.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, use is not recommended without consulting a doctor.
Like all medicines, Valdispert 450 mg may cause side effects, which does not mean that everybody will suffer from them.
In this case, adverse reactions are rare, migraine, nausea or gastrointestinal symptoms may occur after taking the medicine.
Each tablet of Valdispert contains 450 mg of valeriana officinalis L. s.l., radix (Valerian root).
The other ingredients are:
Tablet core: liquid glucose (atomised), colloidal silicic anhydride, powdered cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid and talc.
Tablet coating: sucrose, talc, calcium carbonate (E 170), acacia, tragacanth, titanium dioxide (E 171), liquid glucose (atomised), Capol 600 T.S. (contains white beeswax, carnauba wax and shellac).
Valdispert 450 mg is a herbal medicine, indicated for insomnia or nervousness as an alternative to other therapeutic strategies if the doctor considers it appropriate, because of its sedative and hypnotic properties. Take the tablets whole, do not chew them and then drink water or plenty of liquid.
A healthy diet is recommended, with abundant hydration, physical exercise and adequate rest each day.
