Saridon 20 Tablets

Saridon is a medicine used for the treatment of moderate pain such as dental, muscular, menstrual pain, etc. It has a central nervous system stimulant action thanks to a combination of paracetamol, caffeine and propifenazone. It comes in a blister pack containing 20 tablets.

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age.

Take 1 or 2 tablets every 4-6 hours, without exceeding the maximum dose of 6 per day.

Do not use Saridon:

• In children under 15 years of age.
• If you are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine or any of the ingredients.
• If you suffer from asthma, blood clotting problems, if you are being treated with drugs for blood circulation (anticoagulants), as well as if you suffer from liver or kidney failure.
• If you are in the third trimester of pregnancy.

• Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine, as liver damage from paracetamol may occur.
• Pregnancy and breast-feeding: you should consult your doctor, although it is contraindicated in the third trimester.
• It is advisable to take this medicine with meals or milk to avoid gastric discomfort.

The active ingredients of Saridon are: 250 mg paracetamol, 150 mg propifenazone and 50 mg caffeine. The other excipients are: microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, formaldehyde-casein, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, anhydrous colloidal silica.

Saridon comes in the form of white tablets to be taken orally.

You should not take more than the number of tablets per day that corresponds to your weight and age. If after 3 days of treatment, symptoms or fever do not improve or worsen, seek medical advice.
