Rhinospray Eucalyptus 1.18 Mg/ ml Nasal Nebuliser 10 ml

It is a medicine belonging to the nasal decongestant group. Its active ingredient is tramazoline, which, when administered nasally, produces an intense vasoconstriction that results in nasal decongestion.

Its use is indicated for the local and temporary relief of nasal congestion.

Suitable for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.

Adults and children over 6 years of age: 1-2 sprays in each nostril up to a maximum of 3 times a day.

• Do not use Rhinospray Eucalyptus in children under 6 years of age, as well as special caution in those over 65 years of age.

• Pregnancy and lactation: a doctor should be consulted.

• This medicine is contraindicated in people who have had head surgery such as cranial, transnasal or transoral surgery.

• This medicine contains benzalkonium chloride (special caution in patients with suspected persistent congestion, discontinue treatment and use a medicine that does not contain benzalkonium chloride).

Like all medicines, Rhinospray Eucalyptus may cause side effects:

• Frequent adverse reactions: dizziness, nosebleeds, nervousness.

• Very frequent adverse reactions: discomfort in the nose.

The active substance in Rhinospray Eucalyptus is tramazoline. Each ml of solution contains 1.18 mg tramazoline hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are: eucalyptol, menthol, camphor, benzalkonium chloride, glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, hypromellose, povidone, magnesium sulphate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride and purified water.

Rhinospray Eucalyptus comes in a 10 ml nasal spray bottle and is a clear, slightly yellow solution with a eucalyptus odour.

Before using the bottle, it is advisable to release 2 or 3 sprays into the air, so that the nasal applicator can be charged. Before application, you should remove any existing nasal fluids by blowing your nose thoroughly. Then, with the head upright, spray quickly, inhaling at the same time.

Always use the lowest effective dose, as this medicine may cause dependence.
