Notus Mucus 600 mg Lemon Flavour, 20 Effervescent Tablets

It is a medicine in the form of lemon-flavoured effervescent tablets indicated for treating thick mucus and facilitating its expulsion in cold and flu processes.

It comes in a pack of 20 tablets.

Intended for use in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.

Take 1 tablet every 24 hours, without exceeding the maximum daily dose.

Do not use Notus Mucus lemon flavour:

• In children under 14 years of age.

• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or excipients listed in the composition of this medicine.

• If you are taking other cough suppressant medicines.

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

• Caution if you are taking antibiotics such as amphotericin B, ampicillin sodium, cephalosporins, erythromycin lactobionate or some tetracyclines. They may be incompatible or inactivated, so it is recommended to separate doses by at least 2 hours.

• Medical control in patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, bronchospasm, respiratory failure, anaemia, gastroduodenal ulcer.

• Medical consultation in patients undergoing treatment with nitroglycerin.

Notus Mucus lemon flavour may cause side effects, as with all medicines. Among them, frequent adverse reactions of gastrointestinal nature have been found.

Each effervescent tablet of Notus Mucus lemon flavour contains 600 mg of acetylcysteine as the main active substance. The other excipients are: Citric acid, Sodium bicarbonate, Aspartame (E951), Lemon flavour (contains maltodextrin, sucrose, gum Arabic (E414), triacetin (E1518), alpha tocopherol (E307)), Adipic acid, Povidone K-25.

For correct administration of the medicine, place the effervescent tablet in a glass of water and swallow once completely dissolved. It is recommended to take it preferably in the morning, in addition to drinking plenty of water during the treatment to hydrate mucous membranes and fluidify the mucus, thus facilitating its outflow.

Do not drink alcohol during treatment.
