Nasal decongestant indicated for the local and temporary relief of nasal congestion in adults and children from 6 years of age.

It is a medicine that belongs to the group of nasal decongestants. Its active ingredient is oxymetazoline, which, when administered nasally, produces an intense vasoconstriction that results in nasal decongestion.
Suitable for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Apply 2-3 sprays every 12 hours in each nostril.
Do not use Respir Nasal Spray Solution in children under 6 years of age, as well as special caution in those over 65 years of age.
Pregnancy and lactation: a doctor should be consulted.
This medicine is contraindicated in people who have had head surgery such as cranial, transnasal or transoral surgery.
Do not use this medicine if you are taking drugs for Parkinson's disease; MAO inhibitors may affect the hypertensive effects of oxymetazoline. Do not use this medicine if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, if you have heart disease or cardiac asthma.
This medicine contains benzalkonium chloride (special care should be taken in people with persistent congestion, as they should use a decongestant that does not contain this component) and propylene glycol.
Like all medicines, Respir may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: headache, sneezing, nasal itching.
Very common side effects: drug dependence, dizziness, nervousness, palpitations, difficulty falling asleep.
The active ingredients of Respir Nasal Spray are: oxymetazoline hydrochloride. Each ml of nasal spray solution contains 0.5 mg oxymetazoline hydrochloride as the active substance.
The other ingredients are: monobasic sodium phosphate, disodium edetate, propylene glycol, benzalkonium chloride, sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment and purified water.
Respir comes in a 15 ml bottle with a nasal applicator, the contents of which are a clear, colourless, liquid solution.
Before using the bottle, it is advisable to spray 2 or 3 times into the air to charge the nasal applicator. Remove any existing nasal fluids by blowing your nose or using sea water or saline solution.
The lowest effective dose should always be used, as this medicine could lead to dependence.
If there is no improvement after 2 days of use, consult your doctor.
