This medicine is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of occasional mild to moderate pain and as an antipyretic in adults and children from 12 years of age.

Directions for use

The recommended dosage varies according to the age of the patient:

• Adolescents between 41-55 kg: 1 tablet every 4 hours, not to exceed a maximum of 5 per day.
• Adults and adolescents over 55 kg: 1 to 2 tablets every 8 hours, without exceeding the maximum dose of 6 in 24 hours.

Contraindications

Do not use Paracetamol Winthrop 500 mg:

• In children under 12 years of age.
• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the components of this medicine.

Precautions

• Pregnancy and lactation: consult your doctor, although if they can be taken, always use the lowest dose that is effective.
