What is Paracetamol Pensavital 500 mg and what is it for?

This medicine is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of occasional mild to moderate pain and as an antipyretic in adults and children from 12 years of age (40 kilos).

It comes in a blister pack of 20 tablets.

Who it is intended for

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Instructions for use

Take 1 tablet every 6 hours if necessary and no more than 3 grams in 24 hours.

Contraindications

Do not use Paracetamol Pensavital 500 mg:

• In children under 12 years of age.
• If you suffer from intolerance to any of its components.

• Pregnancy and lactation: consult your doctor before use.
• The use of paracetamol in patients who regularly consume alcohol may cause liver damage.

Composition

The active substance is paracetamol. Specifically, each Pensavital tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol. The other excipients are: sodium potato starch glycolate (Type A), purified water, pregelatinised maize starch, povidone K30 (E1201), stearic acid (E570) and crospovidone (E1202).
