Paracetamol Mabo 500 mg, 20 tablets

It is a medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of occasional mild or moderate pain and as an antipyretic, in adults and children from 10 years of age or weighing more than 33 kg.

It comes in a convenient pack of 20 tablets.

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 10 years of age or weighing more than 33 kg.

Adults and over 15 years of age: Take 1 tablet every 6 hours if necessary, without exceeding the maximum dose of 3 grams in 24 hours.

Children: the dose will vary according to the patient's weight.

- Children weighing between 33 and 40 kg (10 to 12 years): administer 1 tablet per dose according to weight/age, every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day.

- Children weighing between 41 and 50 kg (12 to 15 years): give 1 tablet per dose, every 6 or 4 hours, up to a maximum of 5 tablets per day.

Do not use Paracetamol Mabo 500 mg:

• In children under 10 years of age or weighing less than 33 kg.
• If you suffer from intolerance to paracetamol or to any of its components.

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Although they can be taken, always use the lowest effective dose.
• Patients with kidney or liver disease should consult a doctor before using this medicine.
• The use of paracetamol in patients who regularly consume alcohol may cause liver damage.
• This medicine contains sodium, so special care should be taken in hypertensive patients.

Like all medicines, Paracetamol mabo 500 mg may cause side effects, but this does not mean that all patients will experience side effects. In this case, the following common adverse reactions have been observed: malaise, increased blood transaminase levels, anaphylactic reaction (including hypotension), anaphylactic shock, hypersensitivity and angioedema.

The active ingredients of Paracetamol Mabo 500 mg are: paracetamol. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol. The other excipients are: Saccharin sodium, hydroxypropylcellulose, magnesium stearate, talc, potato sodium carboxymethyl starch, silicon dioxide, orange flavouring.
