Nervikan 50 Dagrees

It is a central nervous system hypnotic and sedative medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of temporary and mild states of nervousness, as well as occasional difficulty sleeping of nervous origin.

It comes in a pack of 50 tablets.

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

The recommended dosage varies according to the results to be obtained:

• Nervousness: take 1 tablet 3 times a day.

• To induce sleep: take 2 tablets in the evening, 30 to 60 minutes before going to bed. If necessary, 1 more tablet can be taken in the evening.

Do not use Nervikan:

• In children under 12 years of age.

• If you are allergic to Valeriana officinalis (Valeriana) root, Melissa officinalis (Melissa) leaves or any of the other ingredients.

Like all medicines, Nervikan may cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. In particular, gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g. nausea, abdominal cramps) may occur, although the frequency is unknown.

The active ingredients of Nervikan are, per tablet: 160 mg of dry extract, obtained with 70% v/v ethanol, of Valeriana officinalis (Valeriana) root, equivalent to 480 - 960 mg of dried Valeriana root, and 80 mg of dry extract, obtained with 36% v/v ethanol, of Melissa officinalis (Melissa) leaves, equivalent to 320 - 480 mg of dried Melissa leaves.

The other excipients are: sucrose, colloidal anhydrous silica, crospovidone, hydrogenated castor oil, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, talc, hypromellose, stearic acid, vanillin, saccharin sodium, simethicone, methylcellulose, sorbic acid, colouring agents: titanium dioxide (E-171), indigo carmine (E-132).

This is a herbal medicine used for the treatment of nervousness, as well as to help you fall asleep. It is a good therapeutic alternative to other pharmacological treatments, if the doctor deems it appropriate.
