Endolex 25mg oral solution

What is Endolex and what is it for?

Endolex is a medicine with analgesic action within the group of medicines known as NSAIDs, i.e. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

It is indicated for the treatment of acute pain of mild to moderate intensity. For example, it is recommended in cases such as muscle pain, joint pain, menstrual pain or dental pain.

Who Endolex is intended for

Endolex is a medicine that is indicated for adults over 18 years of age.

How to take Endolex

Endolex 25mg tablets, as the name suggests, are an oral dosage form for swallowing. These tablets should be taken with water to make them easier to swallow. Depending on the intensity of the pain or the duration of the pain, the dose to be taken or the treatment will vary. However, it is advisable to take the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary.

That is, 1 tablet every 8 hours. Up to a maximum of 3 tablets per day.

  • If you have kidney, liver or heart disease (hypertension and/or heart failure), or fluid retention or have suffered from any of these diseases in the past;

Medicines such as Endolex may be associated with a small increased risk of heart attacks ('myocardial infarction') or stroke ('cerebrovascular accident'). This risk is more likely to occur with high doses and prolonged treatment. Do not exceed the recommended dose and duration of treatment;
  • If you are an elderly patient, you may experience a higher incidence of side effects (see section 4). If these occur, consult your doctor immediately;
  • If you are a woman with fertility problems (Endolex may decrease your fertility so you should not take it if you are planning to become pregnant or if you are undergoing fertility tests);
  • If you have a blood and blood cell production disorder;
  • If you have systemic lupus erythematosus or mixed connective tissue disease (diseases of the immune system that affect connective tissue);
  • If you have or have had in the past chronic inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease);
  • If you suffer or have suffered in the past from stomach or intestinal disorders;
