It is a medicine formulated with 500 mg paracetamol, an active substance effective in reducing pain and fever. It is therefore used for the symptomatic relief of fever and occasional mild to moderate pain in people over 12 years of age and over 33 kg body weight.

Suitable for use inadults and adolescents aged 12 years and over and weighing more than 33 kg.
The tablets should be swallowed whole or broken in half, with the aid of a liquid, preferably water.

Like all medicines, Paracetamol Combix Efg 500 mg may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. In this case, the following effects have been observed:

If you have liver problems, including those caused by excessive alcohol consumption.
If you have kidney problems.
If you have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.
If you suffer from anorexia, bulimia, cachexia or chronic malnutrition.
If you suffer from dehydration or hypovolaemia.
If you are taking a medicine to treat epilepsy.
If you have Gilbert's disease (also known as Meulengracht 's disease ).
If you have heart failure, respiratory failure or anaemia; in these situations, administration should be done under supervision and only for short periods.
If you suffer from asthma and are sensitive to acetylsalicylic acid.
The active substance is paracetamol. Each capsule contains 500 mg paracetamol. The other ingredients (excipients) are: magnesium stearate.
The gelatine capsule consists of: gelatine, carmoisine (E-122) and titanium dioxide (E-171).
The tablets are scored, which allows them to be broken in half to divide them into equal doses. Remember not to exceed the stated dose and always use the lowest dose that is effective. Remember not to take more than the maximum daily dose, as serious liver damage may occur.You should consult a doctor if fever worsens or does not improve or worsens after 3 days of treatment.In case of pain, consult a doctor if pain persists for 5 days.
