It is a medicine aimed at children and formulated with dimenhydrinate, an active ingredient widely used to prevent and treat motion sickness caused by means of transport, whether by land, air or sea.
It comes in a convenient format consisting of 12 single-dose sachets, perfect to take anywhere.
It is used in children from 2 to 12 years of age to treat the symptoms of motion sickness, such as nausea, vomiting or vertigo.
Take the recommended dose (according to the age of the patient) at least half an hour before the start of the journey, although ideally one or two hours before. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as the first symptoms appear.
Specifically, the recommended daily dose is as follows:
Children aged 2 to 6 years: 1 to 2 sachets. If necessary, repeat the dose after 6 to 8 hours, without exceeding the maximum dose of 6 sachets per day.
Children from 7 to 12 years old: 2 to 4 sachets. It can be repeated every 6-8 hours, without exceeding the maximum of 12 sachets per day.
Do not use Cinfamar Infantil:
In children under 2 years of age.
In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
If you suffer from porphyria.
In patients with asthma.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take this medicine unless recommended by your doctor.
If you have liver or kidney failure, do not take this medicine unless recommended by your doctor.
As with all medicines, Cinfamar Infantil may cause side effects, but not everybody gets them. In this case, such effects are usually mild and transient, although their frequency is not known:
Nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, stomach pain.
Lack of appetite and dry mouth.
Sleepiness and drowsiness
Headache, dizziness and lightheadedness.
Increased mucus viscosity in the bronchial tubes, making breathing difficult.
Urinary retention and sexual impotence.
Glaucoma
Dilated pupils, blurred vision or double vision.
Allergic skin reactions and sensitivity to intense sunlight.
Decreased numbers of red blood cells, white blood cells, white blood cells, leukocytes and platelets in the blood.
Porphyria
hypertension or hypotension
Tachycardia, palpitations and/or cardiac arrhythmias.
Hyperexcitability may occur, especially in young children, with symptoms such as insomnia, nervousness, confusion, tremor, irritability, euphoria, delirium, palpitations and even convulsions.
Each single-dose sachet contains 12.5 milligrams of dimenhydrinate as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: glycerol (E-422), propylene glycol (E-1520), raspberry flavouring (glyceride triacetate (E-1518) and natural flavouring flavourings), methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium salt (E-219), propyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium salt (E-217), citric acid monohydrate (E-217), citric acid monohydrate (E-217).citric acid monohydrate (E-330), sodium chloride, saccharin sodium (E-954), acesulfame potassium (E-950), sodium citrate (E-331), sorbitol (E-420), hydroxyethylcellulose and purified water.
This medicine comes in 2.5 ml sachets containing a slightly yellowish solution with a pleasant raspberry odour. As it does not require special storage conditions, it can be easily taken anywhere.
Its consumption may cause some gastric irritation, so it is recommended to be taken with food, milk or water.
