Antidolnait is a medicine with a dual composition. On the one hand, it contains paracetamol, an active ingredient widely used for pain relief thanks to its analgesic properties. On the other hand, it includes diphenhydramine, which belongs to the group of antihistamines used for the treatment of insomnia.
Intended for use in adults and children over 12 years of age suffering from insomnia associated with mild pain.
The recommended dosage depends on the age of the patient:
In adults, it is recommended to take 1 or 2 tablets, about 20 minutes before going to bed.
In adolescents, a single tablet should be taken before bedtime, always under medical advice.
Do not use Antidolnait:
In children under 12 years of age.
In patients with impaired liver function.
In epileptic patients.
In patients with a narrowing of the stomach.
In patients with glaucoma
In patients under chronic treatment with sedatives or analgesics.
During pregnancy and lactation.
Antidolnait may cause side effects, as with all medicines. These include: stomach upset, tingling, blurred vision, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth among others.
Antidolnait is formulated with paracetamol and diphenhydramine as the main active ingredients. Specifically, each tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol and 25 mg diphenhydramine hydrochloride. The other excipients are: corn starch, pregelatinised corn starch, povidone, talc, stearic acid, hypromellose (E-464), talc, titanium dioxide (E-171), macrogol 400 and indigo carmine (E-132).
The use of this medicine helps to find rest while relieving mild pain. We recommend a good sleep routine to complement the intake. The tablet should be taken about 20 minutes before bedtime.
