What is Antidol 1gand what is it for?

This medicine is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of occasional mild to moderate pain and as an antipyretic in adults and children aged16 years and over or weighing 50 kilos.

Suitable for use in adults and children over 16 years of age.

Directions for use

Take 1 tablet every 8 hours if necessary andno more than 3 grams in 24 hours.

Contraindication s

Do not use Antidol 1 g:

• In children under 16 years of age.
• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of its components.

Precautions

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor, although if it can be taken, always use the lowest effective dose.
• The use of paracetamol in patients who regularly consume alcohol may cause liver damage.
• This medicine contains sodium, so special care should be taken in hypertensive patients.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Antidol 1g may cause side effects, but this does not mean that all patients will experience side effects. In this case, the followingcommon adverse reactions have been observed: malaise, increased blood transaminase levels, anaphylactic reaction (including hypotension), anaphylactic shock, hypersensitivity and angioedema.

Compositio n

The active substance is paracetamol. Specifically, each tablet contains 1 gof paracetamol. The other excipients are: sodium carboxymethyl starch (Type A) (potato), pregelatinised maize starch , povidone K30 (E1201), stearic acid (E570) and crospovidone (E1202).
