Titanorein lidocaine ointment is a mucoprotective and lubricant for the anorectal mucosa , protecting it from mechanical or chemical aggression due to contact with faecal matter.
It is packaged in a 20 g tube.
This medicine is for rectal use. Apply 1 to 2 times daily, preferably in the morning, in the evening or after each bowel movement. Do not administer more than twice a day.
Guidelines for correct administration: Wash the affected area with mild soap, especially after defecation, and dry without rubbing. Wash hands before and after each application of the product.
If symptoms persist or do not improve rapidly after continuous treatment for 7 days, this may indicate a more serious disease and the clinical situation should be evaluated. This medicinal product contains lidocaine, which may establish a positive doping control test result in athletes.

Like all medicines, Titanorrein ointment may cause side effects, although in this case, reactions such as pain, itching and redness, or hypersensitivity reactions may occur very rarely.
Each 100 g of cream contains :
Titanium dioxide .............................................. 2 g
Lidocaine (D.C.I.) base ....................................... 2 g
Rhodophyceaextract ( carrageenan content ) ....... 2.5 g
Other excipients:zinc oxide, polyoxyethylene glycolpalmitostearate, saturated polyglycosylated glycerides ,dimethicone, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol, methylparahydroxybenzoate, propylparahydroxybenzoate, potassium sorbate and purified water.
In caseof accidental overdose, local measures should be used to remove the preparation.
For internal use, screw the cannula onto the tube, lubricate it with the cream and gently insert it into the rectum by pressing the tube for administration. After each application, wash the cannula properly.
