It is a topical medicine used to treat the symptoms of haemorrhoids. Its mechanism acts on ano-rectal inflammation while relieving anal itching, thanks to its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and venotonic active ingredients.
Formulated for use in adults over 18 years of age.
Apply to the anal or rectal area 2 or 3 times a day, preferably after a bowel movement and after personal hygiene.
Do not use Abrasone:
In children under 18 years of age.
In case of allergy to fluocinonide, hexetidine, ruscogenin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Do not use if the haemorrhoid is bleeding.
In infections of viral, bacterial or fungal aetiology.
Abrasone may cause side effects, as with all medicines. Specifically, the following may occur: burning, irritation, itching, dryness, allergic or contact dermatitis, stretch marks, secondary infection, skin atrophy, redness at the site of application, changes in skin colour, dilation of small blood vessels.
Also observed: secondary bacterial and fungal infections; suppression of hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal axis, Cushing's syndrome; blurred vision, cataracts; contact and allergic dermatitis; hypo pigmentation, pruritus and erythema at site of application, telangiectasia, dryness, burning sensation and skin atrophy.
Abrasone cream contains fluocinonide, ruscogenin and hexetidine as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: cetyl alcohol, cutin MD (glyceryl stearate), isopropyl myristate, menthol, propylene glycol (E-1520), liquid paraffin, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218) and purified water.
This is a medicated cream formulated with menthol for a cooling effect. It is indicated for haemorrhoids, after hygiene or asepsis with soap and water, and is very easy to apply thanks to its cannula.
