Antidol 500 Mg , 20 sachets oral granules

It is a medicine containing paracetamol, an active substance widely used for the symptomatic relief of pain and fever in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age and weighing 44 kg.

Its use treats both fever and occasional mild to moderate pain, such as headache, dental or muscle pain.

Specially formulated for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age weighing more than 44 kg.

Take 1 sachet of Antidol 500 mg every 4-6 hours as needed. If necessary, 2 sachets of 500 mg could be taken every 6-8 hours.

The maximum dose is 6 sachets per day (equivalent to 3 g of paracetamol), the doses of which should be spaced at least 4 hours apart.

Do not take Antidol sachets 500 mg

• In children under 12 years of age and adolescents weighing less than 44 kg.
• In case of allergy to paracetamol or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding and have not previously consulted your doctor.

Like all medicines, Antidol 500 mg may cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. In this case, the following have been reported:

• Rare: kidney disorders; cloudy urine, allergic dermatitis (skin rash), jaundice (yellowing of the skin),blood disorders (agranulocytosis, leucopenia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, haemolytic anaemia), hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar).

Important note: paracetamol can damage the liver when taken in high doses or in prolonged treatment.

Each Antidol granulated sachet contains 500 mg paracetamol as the active substance. El resto de componentes son carbonato de calcio, hidrogenocarbonato de sodio, ácido cítrico anhidro, citrato de sódio anhidro, aspartamo (E-951), mask it (contiene sacarosa y aspartamo (E-951)), manitol (E- 421), aroma de limó(E-422), glycerol (E-422) diestearate type 1, croscarmellose sodium, carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A) (potato), ethylcellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and polyethylene glycol 400.

This medicine comes in the form of granulated sachets with a strong lemon odour.

It is important to avoid taking high doses of paracetamol for prolonged periods of time, as this increases the risk of adverse effects and liver damage.

If fever worsens or persists for more than 3 days or pain continues or increases after 5 days of treatment, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.
