Algifast 400 mg 12 sachets Powder

It is a medicine in the form of a skin foam indicated for the relief of pain in muscular, rheumatic and joint processes such as torticollis, ankle sprains, back and other muscle contractures, among others.

Adults and children over 7 years of age.

It should be applied 2 or 3 times a day, spraying about 10 centimetres from the area to be treated, and massaging evenly, to help the drug penetrate better and perform its action more effectively.

It should not be applied to wounds or mucous membranes, i.e. it is for external use only, via the skin. Eczema, urticaria and other skin ailments are also exempt from the use of Algesal. The skin must be intact before application.

The area of application should be the affected area, but not too large.

Do not bandage after use.

Hands should be washed with plenty of water after use.

• Do not use in case of allergy to salicylates and their derivatives.

• In pregnancy and lactation, its use is not recommended, as there are no controlled studies to ensure its safety in these patients.

• Do not use in children under 7 years of age.

• Overdosage of the product may cause an increase in oxygen consumption, thus increasing the metabolic rate, causing fever due to acute intoxication, especially in children.

• At respiratory level, it can cause Samter and Beers Syndrome (oedema).

• At skin and tissue level, it may cause urticaria and pruritus, especially if there is allergy to any of its components, keratosis in the area of application due to continuous use.

Each gram of Algesal contains 10 mg lauryl sulphate myrtecaian and 100 mg diethylamine salicylate.

Excipients include disodium edetate, polysorbate 60, liquid paraffin, cetyl alcohol and lavender essence (contains linalool, coumarin, d-limonene, citronellol, amylcinnamaldehyde and terpenic derivatives).

If you suffer from muscle and joint pain, whether due to bad posture, a sprain or simply a blow, use Algesal about 3 times a day on the affected area.

It is recommended to apply dry heat beforehand, to increase the penetration of the drug and increase its effect.
