Lassar paste is a topical ointment with emollient and protective action. It acts as a protective barrier between the skin and irritants. We can use it, for example, in nappy rash, both to treat and prevent it. And chafing and irritation of other areas of the skin.
It could be used by adults and children, as well as babies, as long as the specific precautions for them are taken.
It is a product for topical application, i.e. on the skin. In the case of applying it to nappy rash, it is advisable to do so on clean, dry skin. It can be used 2 to 3 times a day on the area to be treated. It is also recommended for other conditions, such as skin irritation. In general, 2 to 3 times a day.
Not recommended for use in people who are allergic to zinc oxide or to other components of Lassar Imba Paste.
Some side effects such as irritation of the area, itching or stinging may occur. Granulomatous or inflammatory lesions are very rare (affecting approximately 1 in 1000 people).
Avoid applying to areas such as the eyes, ears, nose, mouth or other mucous membranes, as well as areas close to these. Nor is it advisable to use on open wounds or wounds that are oozing and secreting fluid.
The active ingredient is zinc oxide. Each g of ointment contains 250 mg zinc oxide (25 %). The other ingredients (excipients) are: wheat starch, lanolin and refined almond oil.
This product should be applied to the skin of the body, avoiding the facial area due to its composition. If the condition or irritation does not improve in 7 days, we advise you to see a doctor to assess the situation. Do not apply to open wounds or mucous membranes.
