Flogoprofen Spray 50 mg/ml Solution for Skin 100 ml

It is an anti-inflammatory medicine with analgesic properties used for the local relief of mild and occasional pain and inflammation caused by: minor contusions, bruises, strains, sprains, torticollis or other contractures, low back pain and minor sprains resulting from a strain .

Flogoprofen is indicated for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age seeking topical treatment of painful and inflammatory processes.

Apply 3 or 4 times a day a light layer of gel on the affected area and rub lightly to absorb. Wash hands after each application. This medicine is for topical use.

Likeall medicines,Flogoprofen spray may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

These side effects include in order of frequency:skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: reddening of the skin; allergic skin reactions (itching, rash, redness, swelling or blistering) which usually disappear quickly with discontinuation of treatment; allergic skin reactions due to exposure to the sun.

• Use only on intact skin, not on open wounds, mucous membranes or irritated skin.
  
• Avoid contact with eyes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
  
• Do not use on large areas or for prolonged periods of time. May cause skin irritation and dryness.
  
• Do not use occlusive dressings.
  
• Avoid application to the same area as other topical preparations.
  
• Do not expose the treated area to the sun to reduce the risk of allergic reaction due to photosensitivity.
  
• Take special care if you suffer from: gastroduodenal ulcer, ulcerative colitis, coagulation disorders, high blood pressure, heart failure, kidney failure or liver failure.

Each gram of Flogoprofen Spray contains 50 mg of etofenamate. The other excipients are: dimethyl sulfoxide, levomenthol, carbomers, 96 per cent ethanol, turpentine, triethanolamine and purified water.

You should inform your doctor if it gets worse or does not improve after seven days. Avoid sun exposureto the area where the product is applied.
