How to take Ulipristal Aurovitas?
Take one tablet by mouth as soon as possible, but no later than 5 days (120 hours) after unprotected sexual intercourse or failure of the contraceptive method used. Take the tablet without delay.
You can take the tablet at any time of the menstrual cycle and at any time of the day, during or after a meal.
If you vomit (vomit back up) within 3 hours of taking the tablet, take another tablet as soon as possible. If you have unprotected sex after taking the tablet, it will not prevent you from becoming pregnant. After you have taken the tablet and until your next period, you should always use a condom when you have sex.
Do not use Ulipristal Aurovitas:
Like all medicines, Ulipristal Aurovitas may cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them.
Symptoms such as breast tenderness (breast pain) and abdominal (stomach) pain, vomiting (vomiting back up) and nausea (dizziness) are also possible signs of pregnancy. If you miss your period and experience these symptoms after taking this medicine, you should take a pregnancy test.

The active substance in Ulipristal Aurovitas is ulipristal acetate. Specifically, each film-coated tablet contains 30 milligrams of ulipristal acetate. The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, pregelatinised maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, solid carboxymethyl starch (type A) (from type A), croscarmellose sodium, carboxymethyl starch (from type A) (from type B).(potato) starch (type A), magnesium stearate, hypromellose (E464), hydroxypropylcellulose (E463), stearic acid (E570), talc (E553b), titanium dioxide (E171).
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using ulipristal acetate. Your doctor may prescribe another type of (non-hormonal) emergency contraception, i.e. a Cu-IUD.
In all women, emergency contraception should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex. This is not a regular method of contraception. It is recommended for use only in exceptional or emergency cases.
