PRIM's Viadolfix range of elastic tubular netting is a medical device designed to help fix or hold dressings that do not have adhesive. It is made of a combination of textile fibres that help to make the product flexible and elastic. It will recover its natural shape each time it is stretched, thus providing the necessary compression to help fix the dressing without restricting movement.
The fibres used are cotton, which provides excellent skin tolerance and helps to keep the area dry. Polyamide is a plastic compound that gives firmness without taking away its flexibility, widely used in medical compression stockings. In addition, natural rubber latex enhances its flexibility.
The mesh fabric is specially designed so that the ends do not fray, even when part of the mesh is cut. This design is thanks to a lattice structure which is unique to the Viadolfix range.
As it has no direct contact with the wound, this bandage can be reused if properly washed and dried. It should be cleaned with lukewarm water and neutral soap, avoiding at all times aggressive or incompatible products with latex. When drying the net, it is recommended to leave it lying in an open space, but without direct sunlight or any other source of heat.
