Genové compressive tubular bandage N-30 is ideal for thick legs and arms of individuals with inflammation, swelling and trauma to the extremities. It is an orthopaedic article that can be cut to the size required by the patient for greater comfort.
Genové Tubular is a compressive bandage created to immobilise and compress totally or partially injured joints or limbs, and to aid in their recovery. This article has a non-sterile CE Class I marking and is specially designed for use in the period following leg or arm surgery. It is also useful for protecting haematomas resulting from blows or trauma, as well as inflammation and swelling caused by accumulation of fluids in the tissues.
It can also be used to support the fixation of dressings, splints and gauze with medicines that protect bruises from sudden movements and infections. It is suitable for a circumference from 20-24 cm up to a maximum of 43 cm. It has a total length of 100 cm. At rest, the bandage can be extended up to 7.5 cm and the maximum extension is 28 cm. In addition, this compressive bandage stimulates blood circulation and the return of blood to the heart.
On the other hand, when it comes to a joint condition, the Genové compressive bandage helps to keep the joint in a natural and appropriate position for a quick recovery. The bandage should be cut to twice the size of the area to be covered. Then, place the first half and on top of this the second half starting 3 fingers below where the first half ends. It is advisable to always use it in a double layer and constantly check the state of the injury.
