What is it and what is it for?

Self Fix is a self-adjusting elastic bandage of the Pic Solution brand intended to relieve or provide light compression in case of sprains and bruises of the locomotor system.

The Self Fix bandage can be used for the purpose of fixing and securing healing materials to the affected areas of the body.

Its elastic design makes it easy and quick to apply, as it adheres to itself and does not require any alternative fastening. Its fabric, however, does not stick to the skin or cause discomfort to body hair.

Who is it suitable for?

The cohesive elastic bandage Self Fix by Pic Solution is indicated for people with minor injuries of the locomotor system, who need to fix medicines or healing materials to such injuries or to create a light compression in sprains or contusions.

Those who, for reasons of immobility in an upper limb, need a bandage that is easy to apply with one hand, will find a viable solution with Self Fix, as it is only necessary to wrap the affected area and adhere the fabric of the product to itself for a secure and firm hold.

It can also be used on wounds where the dermis is injured.

Instructions for use

Clean and disinfect the area to be covered prior to dressing. Ensure that the adhesive side is in contact with clean, dry skin.

Make sure to always start the bandage from the part of the body furthest from the heart and in the same direction as the venous circulation. Make circular turns to secure the bandages to the injured area. Once you have managed to cover the required area, press the bandage on itself to achieve the adhesive effect.

If applied to delicate skin or if the bandage is difficult to remove, it is recommended to moisten the adhesive edge for a few minutes using warm water, so that it can be removed more easily from the skin.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Discard after use.

Contraindications

Avoid placing the bandage on a joint in extension, as flexing will hinder the free movement of the joint.

If possible, do not cover fingers or toes unless absolutely necessary.

Device designed for one patient only (single-use).

Reuse is prohibited as it may cause possible infection and loss of functionality.

Composition

Highly resistant breathable elastic fabric. Latex-free adhesive material.
