Normopil 50 mg/ ml 2 Bottles Cutaneous Solution, 90 ml

It is a medicine in the form of a topical solution made with minoxidil, an active ingredient that acts on the scalp to stimulate hair growth in individuals with androgenic alopecia, regenerating and preventing hair loss.

It comes in a pack containing 2 bottles of 90 ml each.

Intended for use in adult men over 18 years of age and under 65 years of age.

The recommended dose is 2 ml per day, 1 ml (5 pulses) in the morning and 1 ml (5 pulses) in the evening, massaging gently from the inside out of the affected area. Wash hands before and after each application.

The hair and scalp must be completely dry when applying the product.

1. Remove the cap from the bottle.
2. Insert the syringe into the bottle and withdraw 1 ml of product.
3. Apply 1 ml of solution using the syringe.
4. Spread the solution with the fingertips over the area to be treated, starting from the centre. Do not apply to other areas of the body.
5. Replace the cap on the bottle after use.

Pump applicator, 1 ml equals 5 sprays.

This pump applicator is recommended for use on small areas of the scalp.

1. Insert the cannula into the pump and hold the pump body firmly by resting your fingers on the push button.
2. Unscrew and remove the cap from the bottle.
3. Insert the assembled dosing pump.
4. Screw on firmly.

To apply, direct the sprayer towards the area to be treated.

Press once and spread the product with your fingertips over the area to be treated, starting from the centre.

Repeat 5 times to apply a dose of 1 ml.

Remove the dosing pump and replace the cap on the bottle after use.

Do not use the hand dryer, to accelerate drying.

Wash hands thoroughly after application to avoid hair growth on other unwanted areas of the body.

The degree of response to treatment depends on the individual patient.

A treatment period of 4 months may be necessary before hair growth begins.

The recommended daily dose will be respected, regardless of the extent of the alopecia.

Do not increase the dose or frequency of application.

Do not stop treatment prematurely, if you stop treatment for 3-4 months you may return to the initial state of alopecia you had before starting treatment.

Do not use Normopil:

• In persons under 18 years of age.

• In people allergic to minoxidil or to any of the components of the product.

• If you have scalp wounds, redness, inflammation, irritation or infection.

• If you suffer from any circulatory disease.

Women should take special care to wash their hands after applying this product, as there is a risk of hair growth elsewhere on the body.

• Frequent: Local skin irritation (peeling and redness), Contact dermatitis, Dryness of the skin, Oedema, Stinging sensation of the skin, Hypertrichosis.

• Rare: Allergic reactions, Eczema, Headache and paraesthesia, Dizziness, weakness, malaise, Neuritis and altered taste, Eye irritation, impaired vision, Otitis externa.

• Very rare: Changes in blood pressure and heart rate, Alopecia, Uneven hair, Chest pain.

• Unknown frequency: Dyspnoea (shortness of breath), Depression, Peripheral oedema, Musculoskeletal pain.

Each millilitre of Normopil solution contains 50 mg minoxidil as the main active substance. The other excipients are: ethanol, propylene glycol (E1520), purified water.
