Aloxidil 50 mg/ ml Minoxidil Cutaneous Solution 1 Bottle, 60 ml

Aloxidil is a medicinal solution formulated with 5% minoxidil, an active ingredient that is applied topically to stimulate hair growth in people with hormonal or androgenic alopecia.

Intended for use in adults over 18 years of age and under 65 years of age.

Apply 1 ml of product (6 sprays) on the area to be treated, massaging gently with the fingertips from the centre outwards. Wash hands before and after each application.

The dosage is 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml at night (every 12 hours). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Do not use Aloxidil:

• Under 18 years of age and over 65 years of age.

• In case of allergy to minoxidil or to any of the components of this medicine.

• If you have scalp lesions, circulatory problems or a heart condition.

• In women unless prescribed by a doctor, as its use could cause hypertrichosis.

Do not expose treatment areas to the sun without adequate sun protection.

Aloxidil may cause side effects, as with all medicines, but this does not mean that everyone will experience them. In this case, the following have been observed:

• Frequent: itching, local skin irritation, contact dermatitis, dryness and flaking of the skin.

• Infrequent: headache and paraesthesia. Tachycardia, palpitations and hypotension. Erythematous rash, eczema, alopecia and hypertrichosis.

• Rare: pustular rash and acne.

• Very rare: visual disturbances and eye irritation.

If any of these or other reactions occur, stop treatment and notify your doctor promptly.

Each ml of solution contains 50 mg minoxidil as the active substance. The other excipients are: propylene glycol, ethanol 96% and purified water.

Aloxidil is a clear, slightly yellowish solution used for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.
