It is a medicine in liquid form to be applied directly to the scalp. Thanks to its formula containing minoxidil, it is indicated for the treatment of hair loss.
It comes in a practical 60 ml bottle.
It is intended for use by adults between 18 and 65 years of age who experience gradual thinning or loss of hair on the top of the head.
It can be used by both men and women suffering from generalised thinning hair.
Dosage is 2 ml per day, one in the morning and one in the evening, massaging gently from the inside to the outside of the area to be treated.
Wash hands before and after applying the product to the scalp and always apply to dry hair.
Do not use minoxidil:
In case of allergy to minoxidil or any of the excipients present in this medicine.
In scarring alopecia (skin with ulcers, burns...) or in alopecia areata (sudden hair loss).
If the hair loss is associated with pregnancy, childbirth or serious diseases such as thyroid dysfunction, lupus, loss of sections of hair associated with inflammation of the scalp or other diseases.
If the affected area is red and inflamed, irritated or painful, such as from severe sunburn or seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Minoxidil may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In particular, the following side effects, in order of frequency, have been observed:
Very frequent: headache.
Frequent: dyspnoea, pruritus, hypertrichosis, exanthema, acneiform exanthema, dermatitis, peripheral oedema, inflammatory skin disorder, depression, musculoskeletal pain, pain.
Rare:dry skin, skin peeling, temporary hair loss, changes in hair texture, changes in hair colour, irritation at application site.
Rare: palpitations, rapid heart rate, chest pain, erythema at application site.
Very rare: hypotension
Each ml of skin solution contains 20 mg minoxidil as the main active substance. The other excipients are: propylene glycol, 96% ethanol and purified water.
This medicine is very convenient to use and usually leaves the hair quite clean after application. Each pack comes with a one-month treatment and two applicators, a spray for larger areas and a cannula for more localised areas.
