It is a medicinal solution for cutaneous use formulated with minoxidil, an active ingredient widely used for the treatment of androgenic alopecia, which is the most common type of baldness.
It comes in a pack containing 2 bottles of 60 ml.
Formulated for use in adults over 18 years of age and under 65 years of age who present problems of androgenic alopecia.
The dosage is 1 ml every twelve hours, i.e. 2 ml per day. It is applied to the healthy scalp, avoiding the product falling on other areas of the body. Wash hands before and after each application.
Do not use Lacovin:
Under 18 years of age and over 65 years of age.
In case of allergy to minoxidil or to any of the components present in this medicine.
If there are wounds, redness, inflammation or irritation in the scalp area where the treatment is to be applied.
If you suffer from circulatory problems or high blood pressure.
Frequent: skin irritation, contact dermatitis, dry skin, burning and stinging sensation, oedema, hypertrichosis.
Rare: allergic reactions, eczema, dizziness, malaise, weakness, eczema, neuritis, otitis, eye irritation, impaired vision.
Very rare: alopecia, patchy hair, chest pain, changes in blood pressure and heart rate.
Unknown frequency: depression, dyspnoea, peripheral oedema, musculoskeletal pain.
Each Lacovin tablet contains 50 mg minoxidil as the active substance. The other excipients are: ethanol, propylene glycol (E1520), purified water.
This is an easy to use medicine that is applied with the fingertips to the area to be treated, massaging from the inside outwards.
It is important not to exceed the recommended daily dose and to avoid exposure to the sun after application, as this product may increase the photosensitivity of the skin.
