Normopil 20 mg/ ml Minoxidil 1 Bottle Cutaneous Solution, 90 ml

It is a medicinal solution for topical use formulated with minoxidil, an active ingredient that acts on the scalp to stimulate hair growth in individuals with androgenic alopecia, preventing hair loss.

Intended for use in adult men over 18 years of age and under 65 years of age.

The recommended dose is 2 ml per day, 1 ml (5 pulses) in the morning and another at night, massaging gently from the inside out of the affected area. Wash hands before and after each application.

Do not use Normopil:

• In persons under 18 years of age.

• In people allergic to minoxidil or to any of the components of the product.

• If you have scalp wounds, redness, inflammation, irritation or infection.

• If you suffer from any circulatory disease.

Women should take special care to wash their hands after applying this product, as there is a risk of hair growth elsewhere on the body.

Normopil 20 mg may cause side effects, as with all medicines. This does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. In any case, the side effects, listed in order of frequency, would be:

Frequent (may affect up to 1 in 10 patients):

• Local skin irritation (scaling and redness).

• Contact dermatitis

• Skin dryness

• Oedema

• Stinging sensation of the skin

• Hypertrichosis

Rare (may affect up to 1 in 100 patients):

• Allergic reactions

• Eczema

• Headache and paraesthesia (numbness in arms or legs)

• Dizziness, weakness, malaise

• Neuritis and taste disturbance

• Irritation of the eyes, impaired vision

• Otitis externa

Very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 patients):

• Changes in blood pressure and heart rate.

• Alopecia, patchy hair

• Chest pain

Frequency not known (cannot be estimated from available data):

• Dyspnoea (shortness of breath)

• Depression

• Peripheral oedema

• Musculoskeletal pain

Each millilitre of Normopil solution contains 20 mg minoxidil as the main active substance. The other excipients are: ethanol, propylene glycol (E1520), purified water.

This medicine is very easy to use. In addition, it has a dosage pump for easy application.
