FARMALASTIC CREPE ELASTIC BANDAGE 4 M X 10 CM

The Crepe Elastic Bandage manufactured and developed by Farmalastic is a latex-free textile product, composed solely of cotton and a small portion of lycra or elastane. This composition provides an excellent effect to isolate the humidity of the area, avoiding that the exterior and interior humidity are affected each other. It is also very elastic, which makes it easy to put on and adapt to different parts of the body.

It is hypoallergenic, which drastically minimises the probability of suffering any kind of allergic reaction when in contact with skin, even sensitive skin. It consists of a roll of bandage with a length of up to 4 metres and a width of 10 cm.

It is mainly suitable for adults who are suffering from trauma to any extremity of the body, such as sprains and strains. It is also suitable for holding dressings and other types of bandages. It is also recommended for the prevention of sports injuries.

To use the bandage correctly, it should only be applied to clean, dry skin. In areas with a lot of hair, it is advisable to shave the entire area and the surrounding area. Normally, at least 30 cm of bandage should be used to cover most parts of the body suitable for this product to ensure correct application.

This 30 cm of bandage may be measured beforehand and the corresponding portion of the roll cut off, or at the same time as it is being applied. To use it, it only needs to be applied using the correct technique depending on whether the area has a sprain, strain or other trauma.

In cases where the application of this bandage requires a compression effect to be provided, it is advisable that it is applied by health professionals. Squeezing too hard or too soft can have negative effects on the area of the body where it is applied.

It is not advisable to place this type of product directly on open wounds. Avoid use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Discontinue use if any unfavourable reaction is observed when applying the bandage to the skin.
