It is a topical medicine formulated with minoxidil, an active ingredient that stimulates hair growth in adults with androgenic alopecia, which is the most common type of baldness.
It comes in a pack containing 2 bottles of 120 ml.
Intended for use in people over 18 years of age and under 65 years of age who suffer from moderate hormonal alopecia.
Apply 10 sprays of product (1 ml) every 12 hours on the dry scalp, massaging gently with the fingers from the centre outwards from the area to be treated.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Wash hands before and after use.
Do not use Dinaxil:
In children under 18 years of age and over 65 years of age.
In women, unless previously recommended by a doctor.
In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to minoxidil, or to any of the components present in this medicine.
If you have lesions on the scalp.
If you suffer from circulatory problems or a heart condition.
Dinaxil may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In particular, the following side effects have been observed:
Common: redness, dryness, itching, skin irritation, eczema, hypertrichosis. These are mild to moderate reactions which usually disappear with discontinuation of treatment.
Rare: alopecia, patchy hair, eye irritation and impaired vision, dizziness, headache, otitis externa due to product entering the ear canal, chest pain, numbness in arms or legs and altered taste.
Each millilitre of Dinaxil skin solution contains 50 mg of minoxidil as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: labelled ethyl alcohol, propylene glycol and purified water.
It is a colourless or slightly yellowish clear solution available in different sizes and concentrations of the active substance, minoxidil, depending on the patient's needs. The doctor will determine the concentration and duration of this treatment, as well as whether or not it should be complemented with another product for alopecia.
