Dermaplast Active is an accessory that helps to minimise pain and swelling caused by minor injuries. This product has a cold effect that is automatically activated in order to stop bleeding.
During exercise, blood vessels tend to dilate to send more nutrients and oxygen to muscles and other tissues. The moment an injury occurs, no matter how minor, there will be bleeding or blood loss. The cold effect of this accessory causes these blood vessels to compress. In this way, blood loss will be minimal and bruising will be prevented to a greater extent. This does not mean that the blood flow will stop, as it is still very important that nutrients and oxygen reach the area.
On the other hand, this bandage can do compression for two purposes in particular. The first is to give a sense of comfort to minimise localised pain.
