Crecil 40 Capsules

What is Crecil and what is it used for?

It is a medicine formulated with cystine, anamino acid (a component of proteins) that contains sulphur and forms part of a protein (keratin) that makes up hair and nails.

Crecil is indicated for the treatment of cystine deficiency (a constituent of keratin), which may manifest itself in hair loss and/or brittle nails, caused by unbalanced or restrictive diets (slimming, vegetarian, etc.).

Who it is for

Suitable foradults and adolescents over 14 years of age .

Instructions for use

Take 2 to 3 capsules of Crecil per day, coinciding with meals. The capsules should be taken with a sufficient amount of water.

If symptoms do not improve or worsen after one month of treatment, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.

Contraindications

Do not use Crecil:

• In children under 14 years of age.
• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the components present in this medicine.
• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding and have not previously consulted a doctor.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Crecil may cause side effects, although not everybody suffers from them. In this case,no side effects have been reported with the use of this medicine.

Compositio n

Each Crecil capsule contains 500 mg cystine. The other excipients are: talc, magnesium stearate and sodiumlauryl sulphate. Hard gelatine capsule excipients: gelatine, erythrosine (E-127), titanium dioxide (E-171), indigotine (E-132) and water.
