3M Coban Cohesive Elastic Bandage is a cohesive bandage with a length of 4.5 cm x 7.5 cm. It is made of a thin, porous Dacron-Polyester non-woven backing, which consists of evenly distributed elastic fibres. They provide constant pressure and full compression.

It is an elastic bandage manufactured with a very light fabric, which is ultra water-resistant and highly breathable. In addition, it adheres to itself and holds firmly in place without the need for additional adhesive tapes or clips.

It has been coated with latex which provides greater cohesion and adhesion without sticking to hair, skin or clothing. On the other hand, the Coban elastic bandage maintains constant pressure without losing tension, making it ideal for supporting, securing and protecting sprains and strains to varying degrees.

3M Coban Cohesive Elastic Bandage 4.5 m x 7.5 cm is a product that is indicated for compressive treatments of circulatory problems and partial immobilisers such as sprains, strains, distortions, etc. It is also ideal for holding splints, hot and cold compresses, dressings and postoperative catheter tubes. Finally, it is suitable for the treatment of sports injuries.

Please note that this bandage will not loosen over time, so you should feel comfortable with it from the first use. You should unroll 30 cm of bandage without tension. To begin, apply one full turn without tension and apply sufficient pressure to secure it to the body. Then pull the bandage towards the limb exerting the desired compression. The bandage adheres to the inner layer and when finished applying the bandage, cut off the excess and make sure you are comfortable with the bandage on.

This product does not alter the functioning of the skin, nor does it cause irritation. It is totally contraindicated for patients with severe injuries requiring total immobilisation, torn ligaments, joint capsule tendons, bone fractures, oedema, muscle tears, circulation problems or burns. Do not compress too tightly so as not to affect blood circulation. Be sure to apply adequate compression. It is recommended to consult a doctor to ensure the use of these bandages. This product contains latex, so do not use if you are allergic to the material.
