Onetouch Verio Blood Glucose Test Strips is a product developed to facilitate the measurement of blood glucose in people with diabetes. It is not a diagnostic method, but it does allow better control of blood sugar levels.

Onetouch Verio Blood Glucose Test Strips is a medical device designed to be used in conjunction with OneTouch Verio blood glucose meters. It has specialised reagents to give an accurate blood sugar reading.
It only requires a minimal amount of blood, as little as 0.4 μl for proper measurement. The strips have a shelf life of six months once the vial is opened. After that time, their use is discouraged because they may give erroneous measurements.
It is indicated to facilitate the reading of blood glucose levels in people with diabetes, regardless of their age.
To use these test strips correctly, they must be used in conjunction with any of the OneTouch Verio blood glucose meters or monitoring systems. Here are the steps to follow to use the strip correctly and get an accurate measurement:
Blood should not be applied to another part of the strip as this would render the sample ineffective and another sample would have to be used.
There are no contraindications for this product. Always ensure that the vial is closed when the strip is removed. Never place a used strip in the vial as this will damage the other strips. The strips should not be swallowed, nor should the drying agent contained in the vial.
Glucose dehydrogenase with flavine adenine dinucleotide or GDH-FAD (from Aspergillus sp.) - 2 U; potassium ferricyanide 41 µg; and other ingredients (buffer solution, etc.).
