Acofar Blood Glucose Meter Blood Glucose Monitoring System

ACOFAR Glucometer Blood Glucose Monitoring System is a measuring device for measuring blood glucose. It includes test strips, the lancing method and the meter which contains internal memory to store the latest measurements easily.

Specifically indicated for people with type 2 diabetes or people prone to type 2 diabetes.

To use this monitoring system correctly, the following steps must be followed:

• Insert one of the test strips into the meter.
• Wait for a picture or symbol indicating a drop of blood to appear on the meter.
• Press the M button to select between general or QC testing mode.
  • General mode will be active when nothing appears on the meter, but QC will have an indicator on the meter with the letter C on it. General mode is recommended for regular blood tests and QC is for control solution tests.
• Use the lancing device to draw a sample of blood from the fingertip, preferably.
• Place the finger with the drop of blood on the end of the test strip, making sure that the confirmation window is completely filled.
• Do not remove your finger until the meter starts counting down.
  • In case the confirmation window is not full before the countdown starts, the strip should be discarded and the whole process started again.
• Once the countdown is complete, the result will appear on the meter display and will be stored in the device's memory, which can then be transferred to the computer.

It should be noted that if the blood sample is not inserted, 3 minutes after inserting the strip, the meter will turn off and you will have to start all over again.

Test with the control solution to see if the strips and meter are working properly. Do not rinse the meter with water, wipe it with a damp cloth. Store in a temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius.
