Novo Nordisk Novofine is a case containing 100 ultra-thin needles designed for use with insulin delivery devices. These needles are available in two lengths: 6 mm and 8 mm. They are particularly suitable for patients with low muscle mass and for children. Due to their extreme thinness, the puncture is virtually painless, minimising any discomfort. Their design facilitates penetration into the subcutaneous layer. In addition, these needles are latex-free and compatible with a wide range of insulin delivery devices.
These needles are part of an insulin pen and injection delivery system. They are polished, coated, short, threadable and easy to use regardless of the patient's age or weight. They incorporate an integrated glue tower that prevents breakage or kinking.
These needles feature SuperFlow technology, which improves flow and facilitates injection by reducing the effort required. They are sterile devices sterilised with Ethylene Oxide (EO) and can be stored properly for up to 5 years without special maintenance requirements.
They comply with RD 1591/2009 regulations for medical devices. It is recommended to consult the instruction manual for possible side effects and contraindications.
Instructions for use:
It is suggested to remove the protective seal from the needle and screw it into the corresponding applicator.
