It is a medicine in gum form with a refreshing mint flavour for the relief of nicotine withdrawal symptoms that occur when trying to quit smoking.

It comes in a convenient pack of 96 medicated chewing gums.

Suitable for use by those over 18 years of age who want to quit smoking.

Start using this product on the day you stop smoking. To successfully quit smoking with this treatment, you must stop smoking completely .

Slowly chew a piece of gum until the taste becomes strong. Do not eat or drink while a piece ofgumis in your mouth.
2.Place the gum between your cheek and gum.
3.As the taste subsides, chew the gum again.
4.Repeat for 30 minutes to gradually release the nicotine.
Medicated chewing gum should not be swallowed.

Nicotinell Cool Mint chewing gum may cause side effects, as is the case with all medicines on the market.In this case, some of the effects that you may notice during the first few days are dizziness, headache and sleep disturbances, which may be attributed to the symptoms related to quitting smoking, and may sometimes be due to insufficient nicotine administration. In this case, the following have been observed:

• Very frequent: nausea.
• Frequent: pain or mild irritation of the mouth or tongue, sorethroat or inflammation, feeling sick, upset stomach, diarrhoea, indigestion/heartburn, flatulence, hiccups, excessive salivation , constipation, difficulty in swallowing, difficulty in swallowing.constipation , constipation, difficulty swallowing, dizziness and headache, vomiting, insomnia, coughing, dry mouth and jaw muscle pain, especially as a result of heavy chewing of gum .
• Infrequent: palpitations, urticaria.
• Rare:fast or irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing, symptoms of severe allergic reaction including sudden wheezing or tightness in the chest, skin rash, rash in the chest.Rarely: rapid or irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing, severe allergic reaction symptoms including sudden wheezing or chest tightness, rash and fainting, heart rhythm disturbances (faster heartbeat) and allergic reactions. Allergic reactions can very rarely be severe with the following symptoms: swelling of the skin; swelling of the face and mouth; lightheadedness, dizziness and fainting (symptoms of low blood pressure); difficulty breathing.

Before taking Nicotinell Cool Mint 4 mg:

• If you have any heart problems you should consult a health care professional before using any nicotine replacement product.
• If you experience increased heart problems while using a nicotine replacement therapy product, you should reduce or stop using the product, youhave recently had a heart attack or stroke, or you have severe heart rhythm problems or chest pain, you should try to quit smoking without using any nicotine replacement therapy product.

Each Nicotinell Cool Mint Medicated Chewing Gum contains 4 mg nicotine (corresponding to 20 mg nicotine-polacryline).The other ingredients are: sorbitol (E420), gum base (contains butylated hydroxytoluene (E321)), calcium carbonate, sodium carbonate anhydrous, sodium hydrogen carbonate, polycrystalline, glycerol (E422), purified water, levomenthol, natural mint flavour, peppermint millicaps, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, xylitol (E967), mannitol (E421), gelatine, titanium dioxide (E421), titanium dioxide (E421), sodium hydrogencarbonate (E422).xanthanium dioxide (E171), carnauba wax and talc.

Chewing gum may stick and in rare cases may damage dentures and dental bridges. To improve the chance of success in quitting smoking, you should not smoke at all at the start of Nicotinell Cool Mint or during the whole treatment.
