Nicorette Supermint 4 mg 20 Sucking Tablets

It is a medicine in the form of a lozenge containing 4 mg of nicotine, so it is used to relieve withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings that occur when trying to quit smoking in smokers who are highly dependent on nicotine.

It comes in a pack containing 20 tablets.

This treatment is indicated for adult smokers aged 18 years and over who are highly dependent on nicotine.

The4 mg dose is suitable in these cases: if youare a smoker with high or very high nicotine dependence, youhave not managed to quit smoking previously using 2 mg oryour symptoms from quitting smoking are so intense that you relapse and start smoking again.

This medicine is for oral use. Placea lozenge in the mouth and periodically swish it back and forth in the mouth until completely dissolved. This usually takes less than 20 minutes. Do not chew the tablet or swallow it whole.

Do not use more than 15 lozenges per day. If you feel the need to continuetaking Nicorette Supermint after 6 months of treatment, you should ask your doctor for advice.

Like all medicines, Nicorette Supermint tablets may cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. In this case, the following have been observed:

• Effects related to smoking c essation(nicotine withdrawal):irritability, aggressiveness, impatience or frustration,feelings of anxiety, agitation or difficulty concentrating,nocturnal awakenings or sleep disturbances, increased appetite or appetite problems.or sleep disturbances,increase in appetite or weight gain,depression,cravings for smoking,decreased heart rate,bleeding gums or mouth ulcers, dizzinessor slight disorientation,cough, sore throat, nasal congestion or mucus,constipation.

Other side effects that may occur

• Very common: cough, headache, hiccups, nausea (feeling sick), irritation of throat, mouth and tongue.
• Frequent: effects at the site of administration such as burning sensation, swelling of the mouth or changes in taste perception, dry mouth or increased amount of saliva, sensation of dyspepsia, pain or discomfort at the site of administration.Common: effects at the site of administration such as burning sensation, inflammation of the mouth or changes in taste perception, dry mouth or increased amount of saliva, feeling of dyspepsia, pain or discomfort in the tummy (abdomen), vomiting, flatulence or diarrhoea, heartburn, feeling tired (fatigue), feeling of dizziness, hypersensitivity (allergy), irritability and feeling of anxiety.
• Rare: effects on the nose such as nasal congestion, sneezing, snoring (bronchospasm), or feeling of needing to breathe harder than normal (dyspnoea), tightness of the throat, redness of the throat, redness of the skin (redness of the nose).effects on the mouth such as tingling, swelling of the tongue, mouth ulcers, damage to the mucous membrane of the mouth, reddening of the skin (flushing), tingling or increased sweating, swelling of the tongue, mouth ulcers, damage to the mucous membrane of the mouth.mouth mucosa damage or changes in the sound of the voice, mouth and throat pain, belching, palpitations (unusual sensation of heartbeat), increased heart rate, high blood pressure, rash and/or itching, and other symptoms of heartburn.Rare: rash and/or itching (pruritus, hives) or reddening of the skin, depression, feeling nervous, abnormal dreams, chest discomfort and pain, feeling of weakness, feeling unwell.
• Rare: difficulty swallowing, numbness in the mouth, rapid and erratic heartbeat, which can be treated with appropriate medication, retching.
• Frequency not known: blurred vision, increased tear production (lacrimation), dry throat, upset stomach, sore lips, reddening of the skin.
