Kern Pharma Children's Adhesive Bandage is a product indicated to cover superficial wounds that children may suffer on any part of their body. The adhesive-edged plasters are also water-resistant and hypoallergenic. They are beige in colour.
Kern Pharma Children's Adhesive Band-Aids are adhesive plasters designed in two different sizes to cover minor and superficial wounds that children may have on any part of their body. They have a micro-perforated design that allows the wound to heal while breathing. They are water resistant, hypoallergenic and breathable. These dressings adhere easily to the skin and are flexible, so they allow the child to make any movement, without the risk of them coming off or moving from their place.
They are easy to apply and quick to remove, so they are considered very useful for covering small wounds or cuts. Children often experience discomfort with these injuries, as they do not heal as quickly because they are rubbed so often. This is why dressings are so useful, as they can be covered to avoid injury and allow the healing process to take place more safely.
They are just the right size, the box contains 12 units of 72 mm x 19 mm and 8 units of 57 mm x 16 mm. In total, 20 beige units in each box.
It is indicated for children with all skin types who need to cover light and superficial wounds or lesions.
It is recommended to clean the wound and the skin around the wound before applying the dressing. It should be disinfected before covering and well dried. Then take a dressing, peel off the adhesive backing and place it on the wound. Make sure that the adhesives are on the healthy skin and the centre of the dressing covers the wound. Gently press to achieve the desired fit. To remove, first peel off one edge of the dressing and then remove completely without pulling on the skin, to avoid injury to the wound surroundings. It should be changed whenever it is deemed necessary. At each change, the wound should be cleaned and dried to avoid possible infection.
If any adverse reaction is observed, the dressing should be removed and experts should be consulted. The product should not be handled by children without parental supervision.
