Contains 20 ml
It is a topical medicine formulated with salicylic acid and lactic acid for anti-wart action. Its mechanism has a dual action that softens and destroys the stratum corneum to facilitate the elimination of warts.
Isdin Antiverrugas is designed to treat cutaneous warts in adults and children over 2 years of age.
Apply with the spatula included a drop on the wart or warts to be treated, avoiding the surrounding healthy skin. It is recommended to apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the area around the wart to avoid burns.
To increase its effectiveness, leave to dry and cover with a sticking plaster for 12 hours, repeating the process every day until it disappears completely. Although up to 12 weeks of treatment may be necessary, we recommend consulting a doctor if you do not notice any improvement after the first 2 weeks.
Do not use Antiverrugas Isdin:
In children under 2 years of age.
If you are allergic to salicylic acid, lactic acid or the other ingredients in this medicine.
On areas of skin that are irritated, inflamed or injured.
On birthmarks or moles.
This product, as with all other medicines, may cause side effects, but this does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. These usually occur on the healthy skin around the wart and include: swelling, redness, ulceration or burning. If any of these symptoms occur, discontinue treatment until the affected skin improves and return to use only on the wart.
Each ml of Isdin Antiverrugas contains 167 mg of salicylic acid and 167 mg of lactic acid as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: collodion.
Isdin anti-wart drops is the sum of two active acidic ingredients that soften the skin and destroy the stratum corneum, hence its anti-wart action. It is suitable for adults over twelve years of age, although for paediatric use you should consult your doctor beforehand.
It is a keratolytic solution that is applied once a day on the affected area, with the help of a brush, while the adjacent area should be protected with the help of some cream or Vaseline, to avoid direct contact.
