Contains 30 gr.
Linitul ointment is a medicine in ointment form with healing properties that is used to stimulate the healing of wounds, varicose ulcers and pressure ulcers.
Intended for use in adults over 18 years of age.
Do not use Linitul:
- If you are under 18 years of age.
- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
- If you suffer from inflammatory dermatosis.
- If you have blood clots in an artery.
Apply a thin layer of Linitul ointment to the affected area, approximately twice a day, massaging gently until it is absorbed. The area can then be covered with a protective bandage.
This medicine allows the process to be repeated as many times as necessary, previously washing the area with a cleansing solution, such as saline solution.
Linitul can produce adverse effects, as with other medicines, which does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. In this case, as it is a topical drug, it is not common for them to occur, although the following have been observed:
- Allergic reactions, such as contact dermatitis.
- Stinging sensation in the area of application.
If any of these side effects occur, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.
Each gram of ointment contains 20 mg of balsam of Peru and 150 mg of castor oil as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: filmy petroleum jelly, liquid petroleum jelly, dimethicone, beeswax and solid paraffin.
Linitul ointment is a medicine that accelerates the healing of ulcers and wounds, reducing dehydration in adults.
As it is a cream formulated with balsam of Peru and castor oil in vaseline, it is interesting to add a bandage after applying the product on the area, to protect it from damage by external agents (pollution, pathogens.).
