Stratamed Gel 5 Gr

Stratamed Gel is a medical device developed by Stratpharma laboratories and distributed in Spain by Exeltis. It is a gel that should be applied directly to any type of superficial wound or scar. When it dries, it creates a protective layer that produces a suitable environment for the correct recovery of the area, avoiding scars and unsightly marks. It is also effective for both recent and old wounds.

It is especially indicated to help the treatment and healing of recent wounds or scars. Mainly for postoperative processes.

It is recommended to smear directly on the wound, at least once a day or even twice a day, depending on the needs of each patient. To obtain the best possible results, it is advisable to keep the area protected with the product 24 hours a day, for a week or more, for a maximum of 90 days. Here are the steps to follow for correct placement:

• The first step is to prepare the area for gel application. The area where the gel is to be applied, whether it is a recent wound or an old scar, must be adequately dried and cleaned.
• Once the area is as dry and clean as possible, a light layer of the product is applied.
• Once the gel has been applied, it should be left to act, but there are two possible scenarios. Without the use of a bandage or gauze: once the gel has been applied, it should be left to dry for at least 5 to 6 minutes, which is the approximate drying time. If it does not dry in this period of time, it is an indication that it has been applied too much. Remove some of the product and leave it to act. With a layer of bandage or gauze: If a bandage or gauze is to be used, Stratamed does not need to be left to dry. Simply apply the gel and then apply the bandage. This should be done every time the gauze is changed.

Once the gel dries, it will not stain your clothes. It is easy to remove because it is diluted by rinsing with warm water and soap.

Avoid contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes. Do not use on deep wounds. Avoid use if an allergic reaction is observed when applying the gel to the skin.
